Hi everyone!
The Skill-A-Thon and Awards Presentation are scheduled for Sunday March 12th. This year, the skill-a-thon will be held at Mount Pakenham from 10am to 3pm. This is meant to be a fun wind-up event – we set up a little race course and participants have a chance to show off their skills. We will have hot chocolate, coffee and some treats available.
Awards and medals will be handed out at the hill. If you cannot make it to the Skill-a-thon, let your instructor know so you can get your certificate and medal at your last lesson.
On this day we will also be collecting your pledges and pledge forms. This means you still have some time to fundraise; this is our biggest fundraiser of the year and very important because these funds help to keep our equipment in tip-top shape and offset the fees that we need to charge participants. If you aren’t able to collect any pledges, please bring the forms back as we have to track them for CRA purposes.
